so good ! the 2002 hallway girl with the black jacket lives in my head now & ‘The death of wonder about the mysterious other’ is such a good line. i do agree we’ve traded wonder for a sheet of statistics .

Such a lovely comment. I’m glad you liked it and that I made my feel real

Intrigue has been stripped! We have fell for the tricknology of data. Data doesn't make a person. All of this digital stuff is self induced. There is no real checking. Ultimately it goes back to the person. That can only be found out in person. Mystery for me is what matters. All of this false research. Anyway enough of my rant. I like what you do

You said that perfectly. And thanks, I’m really grateful

Well observed and said! You are right that we have made dating a commodity (not to mention gamification) and that it really is more like a job interview than a process of getting to know someone naturally. Let's see a return of free range, organic, local dating!

Yeah gamification of dating is the absolute worst. Thank you for your comment and I hope we shall see a return soon

Dude this was a really enjoying read essaysential!

I loved thst analogy you made with the girl, and your part about wonder reminded me of this one YouTube video about music artists not being as they used to now that we can know absolutely everything about them, unlike with Lauryn hill and Elliott smith or Fiona Apple even

Good stuff bro!

Thank you for your comment and yes it’s true for celebrities too, years ago we could only guess what they were doing, a total mystery. But nowadays you can even look up how many times Brad Pitt has gone to the bathroom
